An elevator pitch is a concise, compelling introduction of a person, product, service, or idea, typically delivered in the time span of an elevator ride (usually 30 seconds to 2 minutes). This brief speech is designed to spark interest in what your organization does, what you do, or what you're selling. The name "elevator pitch" reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver the summary in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately thirty seconds to two minutes.
